Half-rock, half-glass,
Hard as a hermit crab’s shell rolling all over the floor,
A clattering sound to wake me up clatter clatter clatter,
If we could talk together we would talk about our feelings,
You’re shiny and sparkly while you hid yourself underground,
If I smashed you it would be like a volcano erupting and there will be no glowing in the moonlight,
Bumpy as pyramids scattered all over the hot desert,
You taste like hard cold ice-cream that you could never bite,
My grandma bought you at a jewellery shop and when I first touched you my body went as cold as hail,
I first held you when I was three years old,
I never knew how special you were to me but when I was older I now knew,
Rough as glass but as smooth as paper, and as wet as a waterfall,
Your reflection reminds me of a rainbow starting and finishing off my day.
