I stand in the shady embrace, of my best friend, of my sister
She guides me to a better state, away from the talons of human desolation
Though I know when she is gone I will miss her
I stay hopeful that she will be forever mine
For surely no one cares for her the way I do

There are people out there that seek her destruction
Long for the days when the land is flat
Prepare for the day of her abduction
Oblivious of the war they are subconsciously
Plaguing the Earth with

Barren ochre will sweat with tears it cannot cry
Knowing that it is stuck forever in torture
Lost memories of ocean tides forever dry
Loneliness is the only feeling left
Capable only of causing oppression

So as I gaze into the twisting branches
I shed a single tear for the future
I will be gone in a fraction of her existence
Yet her life is in flames set to
Burn forever
