Strawberry Pillow

Ever had something where there’s only a few?
Something that’s old but feels brand new?

Something that is soft, old and raggedy
Something that’s faded but still snuggly?

Ever had something for a really long time?
Something you just couldn’t stand to leave behind?

Something that’s been ripped and torn apart
Something your dog sniffed out like a baked tart?

Many stories were read to me,
Strawberry pillow would agree.

I slept with it every night,
I took it on my holiday flights.
