Summer

Sunny days and steamy nights  

Summer is here with lots of delights.

Ice cream melting in the sun 

The waves are pumping 

It looks really fun.

Lots of fruit it's juicy and sweet 

BBQ sizzling, that's a treat.

Thongs and slides on my feet 

Allowing my toes to tap a beat.

The music we listen to all summer long 

“Summer in the City” is my favorite song

Sitting next to the pool relaxing and baking

As I dive in, I feel amazing.

My body cools down while I swim around 

I feel like a dolphin with a crown.

As I am doing tumbles and spins 

The fun just starts to begin.
