Sunrise

Shining and shimmering
The sun shining high oh so bright,
The waves were rising
And crashing in the daylight.
I was feeling blue
Like the colour of the ocean,
My feelings suddenly rose
Like the waves of the sea.
Beautiful warm water,
so clear and clean.
Listen to the trees swooshing
It's so calming and soothing.
Not a cloud in sight
Everything so nice and bright,
I could stay here
All through the night.
