The Beauty on Earth

Star-studded twinkling flowers
Sitting steadily on my hair
Dancing on the reflection on the sparkling water
Shimmering in the night’s gloomy sky
Shining brighter than a shard of glass from glamorous towers
Memories of my grandmother smiling down
Now she’s looking happily from above
She lay there in a hospital bed
Then gave a mesmerising object,
and gasped her last breath
Wishing she was here with me now
Cuddled I feel when wearing it
Cared and thoughtfully loved
Unique and special
Handmade in Taiwan just for me
delicate as a newly sprouted petal
Brings light and beauty
Without it my life would be muddled
My vibrant, sparkling cherry blossom clip
