The Coffeehouse Lady

As I walked into the coffeehouse
I saw her sipping tea
As she stared into the distance looking for her spouse
Her sadness clear to me
I walked over in her way
And she invited me to take a seat
I knew she had a story to pray
So I sat down to listen on the cleat
She told me how her husband died
How she felt and how she grieved
I felt so bad for her and cried
As I felt her pain from what I perceived
She loved him with all she had
Her soul body heart and mind
But time caught up with the old lad
And he just fell cold and blind
