A wall of Nature

Sitting on the mountain like a king on his throne

A canopy as vast as the ocean surrounding it

Where many animals were once born

Once a home to all, now it is all gone

The Forest

Roots digging down, down, down into the ground, centuries of soil untouched

Paths made by millions of small feet

Creeks shaped by years of downpours

Once a home to all, now it is all gone

The Forest

Long ago calm and serene, now a world of noise and chaos

Soon it will have perished and we will realise it should have been cherished
