The bellowing brown beast of the sun-swept land
Swiftly hopping across the sand
It would challenge most to cross the rocky plain
The kangaroo would put any obstacle to shame

The unfortunate souls which are unlucky to hear
The raspy cry will strike them with fear
Most are smart and would run away
But some are foolish enough to stay

Those who invade are asking to face
The one that will turn them into a dead disgrace
It gives its all to protect its kin
From bloodthirsty monsters who desire to devour its skin

But the mother’s strong hide is tough as rock
The endurance of it would leave most in shock
Munching on grass for a great delight
merciful unless you decide to fight
