The Life of a Back Door

I HATE being me
I get slammed all day then
They stick a pointy thing in me
And it hurts a lot
When they come home they sing
But it’s not fair
Because I want to become a singer
I hope that just this once
I will be able to sing
It’s not too much to ask for
