Moon, so light and dark

Not afraid to shed your spark

My most treasured moon

Watching from afar

Staring down at earth

Shedding your tears of starlight

Giving others light

Showing us all your might

In solitary,

You seem to be so merry

Please smile down on us

My dearest rabbit

Gazing at planets

Alone, is that your habit?

As you watch the earth

Counting stars passing by

Dining on mooncakes

You never make a mistake
