The Mountain Pygmy Possum

The Mountain Pygmy Possum grips on the tree branch at 

Australia's snow covered alpine.

I watch in the bushes as my

 ice-cream turns colder and colder.

Suddenly, I see that the Pygmy Possum 

had started burrowing a den. 

The Pygmy Possum looks appealing and charming.

The cute, adorable, creature.

I cannot resist gazing at it 

through my trusted binoculars.

It is a wonderful scene,

the air fills with coldness 

as snow settles gently onto the ground.
