You catch them one by one with your dainty, woven strings
Your feathers floating dreamily in the crisp, cool midnight air
The gift of almighty, yet benevolent peace you send to us

O’ dazzling whimsical protective charmer
You are my one and only strong guardian
You are as soft as everlasting love
You shed light onto our shaking world

Then in the glorious days that the Earth brings us
In my quiet little reverie, you come to me
And whisper you shall be okay
Then you whisk me away to another world
