The Ocean

As we gallop away,
Bound for the beach,
The wind in my hair,
The sand in my toes,
The sea in my eyes.
We dash across the glimmering sand,
Seeing seagulls and shells,
We jump into the shimmering waves,
Seeing whales and walruses.
We dive down into the indigo blue,
Seeing sharks and seahorses,
The silky warm water covering me,
Seeing dolphins and dugongs.
We dive deeper into the inky black sea,
Seeing jellyfish and john dory,
The marine life full of colour,
Seeing lion fish and leafy sea dragons.
We dive further into the aqua land,
Seeing manta rays and manatees,
Our journey at last has come to an end,
Seeing oysters and octopus.
