The Snubfin Dolphin

The Snubfin Dolphin shoots through the depths of the ocean

And my heart stopped as it hurled its body towards me

The scent of the salty ocean fills my nostrils 

As the dolphin swims gracefully away

The sunrise spills onto the glistening ocean 

as I sit and watch from my bedroom window

Watching the pinks and purples melt into a sky blue 

Giving me the urge to step out into the sunshine
