Treasure Light

Time has passed
since this object was first received
holder of my achievement
as a lighter in darkness
Like a key
opening a door to encouragement
those memories shall remain
as it continues its faithful service
It lights anytime
with a touch on a switch
glorious memories come out
in a mere sliver of light
continues the journey of life
Those memories shall never fade
after an achievement quite great
yet there’s more to come
as a reminder of persistence
Lest I forget
My candle
