From the rainforest to dry forest, your sandstones fractured and disbanded,

The thorn bushes, lycium richii.

So stabby and razor-sharp they blemish me as I walk past,

The gum trees stand dispassionately as the birds land and fly the rope is a security guard keeping me from going any further.

Now I hear the bell ringing DING DONG you aren`t alone anymore.

The children's jolly voices blend in with your wind.

Wallabies hide, scuttling away from any nearby movement.

Oh, eucalyptus tree, the koalas climb, eat and sleep in your many arms.

Now it`s time for me to go home but you`ll always be in my heart. ;)
