In the 1900’s we were introduced,

To a land so rich we happily reproduced

Then everything changed,

It all got so strange

We went from happy and included,

To hunted and excluded

We just want to eat,

But now we must retreat

We tried to make a home,

And now we’re on our own

One day we were snug in our burrows

The next hunted so thorough

They sent in the skilled,

For us to be killed

What will become of us,

Soon there will be none of us.
