The rush of blue washing against

My toes

A koala with a big, shiny, black

Button on the end

Of its nose

Clinging onto a big eucalyptus tree

Dozing off to sleep, not to be

Awoken, by the deep crashing from a

Dark rippling river of marine

Topped with white, fluffy, foam bubbling

Into the river washing away into the sea

When will it wake up?

The glistening of fire

Sending up fiery, gold sparks

Shooting up into the

Sky, lighting up

The golden pathway

At sunset

For Wye River
