AVANT GAGA and the Poetry Night at Sappho Books is a monthly poetry reading series at the famous Sappho Books Cafe & Wine Bar in Glebe NSW. The event has become a Sydney institution for live poetry because of its diverse selection of established and emerging poets, from Sydney, interstate and internationally.
