Bankstown Poetry Month Slam

Poetry aficionados, appreciators of HipHop and literature that beats with a thunderous heart — you absolutely do not want to miss this!

We’re partnering with Australia’s largest regular poetry slam for Poetry Month, with a feature set by the acclaimed poet Hasib Hourani, the award-winning author of rock flight. Support features to be announced in August.

Anyone can also sign up to perform on the night, this is your chance to win a spot in the Bankstown Poetry Slam (BPS) 2027 Grand Slam.

Your free ticket gets you access to the slam, fresh watermelon, world class poetry and some Bankstown class dad-jokes, courtesy of MC Bilal Hafda.

This event is free to attend, but registration is essential (bookings open mid-July via the Bankstown Poetry Slam website). Sign-up to perform is from 6:15pm.
