Face Washer - Eileen Chong: Poetry Object Video Resource

Eileen Chong is a Sydney poet who was born in Singapore. In 2010 she won the Poets Union Youth Fellowship and was the Australian Poetry Fellow for 2011-2012. Her first collection of poems, Burning Rice, was published in the New Voices Series 2012 by Australian Poetry. The book was highly commended in the Anne Elder Award 2012 and was shortlisted for the Prime Minister's Literary Awards 2013. Her new collection, Peony, was published by Pitt Street Poetry in 2014.

She has been mentored by the Australian poets Judith Beveridge, Anthony Lawrence and Kate Fagan, as well as the critic Ivor Indyk.
