Kel Watson is performance writer and poet from Sydney, NSW. She completed a BA in Theatre Theory and Practice in 2000, majoring in writing and dramaturgy. Kel went on to study Playwrighting at NIDA in 2003.  In 2004 her play “Escape Velocity” was produced by Pandoras Box Productions at the Tap Gallery in Darlinghust. In 2010 she was featured in the Picaro Poetry Prize compilation “The Green Fuse”. She has performed her poetry across Newcastle, Blue Mountains and Sydney. Kel is presently working towards an MA in Creative Writing and continues to perform, write and lead changemaking community arts projects.
