Aniesha Ah See is a proud woman of the Wiradjuri/Chinese Nations of the Wellington Valley NSW, formerly known as Bingdjang. As a young child, Aniesha was surrounded by creativity whether its form was in writings, songs, paintings, or creation. Her Wiradjuri Nation is a matriarchically following Nation and Aniesha grew up with many female family members to look up to in her family. She was especially inspired by her grandmother Connie Ahsee, who contributed her art to many community and educational programs such as designing the artworks for the Wellington Caves, and extensive work teaching students about Country and culture through her art. With such a childhood filled with art, culture, stories and Country, Aniesh holds firm to her belief that there is no culture and no Country without art and its stories. As a woman deeply imbedded in her own culture and stories, Aniesha will continue to bring culture and language into all of her creative mediums.
