Harper Murray

Harper is a year 9 student from Linuwel School Ltd in NSW and belongs to the Ngāpuhi peoples of Aotearoa. He was the lower secondary winner of the 2022 POEM FOREST Prize for his poem ‘Ngahere Poem’. After school, he plans to travel to New Zealand to learn more about his Māori heritage whilst gaining a trade in mechanics that will allow him to travel, so he can continue to take inspiration and connect with Mother Nature.
