Kate Durbin is a writer and artist from Los Angeles, California, USA. She is the author of four books of poetry. Hoarders (Wave) was named a best book of 2021 by NPR, Lit Hub, and Electric Literature. Her other books include E! Entertainment, The Ravenous Audience, and ABRA. ABRA is also an iOS app that is "a living text.” It won the 2017 international Turn On Literature Prize for electronic literature. In 2015, and again in 2020, Kate was the Arts Queensland Poet-in-Residence in Brisbane, Australia. Her writing has appeared in Poetry, The American Poetry Review, Art in America, Flaunt, The Los Angeles Review of Books, and elsewhere. Kate has shown her artwork internationally at The Pulse Art Fair in Miami, MOCA Los Angeles, Peer to Space in Berlin, the Jimei x Arles International Photo Festival in Xiamen, China, and more.
