Kristen Lang
Kristen Lang is a writer and wildlife surveyor living in Tasmania/Lutruwita. She was raised believing she needed to answer the questions of who she would become and what she would achieve. The questions of where she was and the life she was joined to were less important. Now, her bios seem to need a trail line leading a long way off the page, onto stone, into air, dissolving into water. Land, flesh, sky – in many cultures, inherent connectivity is present in the structure of the language. Perhaps poetry can be a vehicle for the same. Kristen’s recent publications include [re]turn (2026, Upswell Publishing), and Earth Dwellers (Giramondo, 2021).
