Pete Spence has achieved an enviable international acclaim for much of his work in painting, experimental film, visual poetry and of course the exuberant, engaging lyric verse. He made a number of films, some screened internationally in Germany and Switzerland and festivals in Australia, with 2011 screenings in UK and Melbourne.

Pete has been one of the undiscovered heroes of Australian literature, for over four decades he has been quietly pursuing his own direction in this multiplicity of art forms but in particular in his witty, idiosyncratic, entertaining poetry. Perrier Fever is his first large-scale collection, characterised as an important milestone in Australian poetry.

Pete's poet 'July 13th/14th Sydney for Ken' is now featured in our free app, The Disappearing.
