In celebration of Indigenous Literacy Day, local poet Eric Avery will perform his compelling new work, including his poetry commission for the New Shoots project. The reading will be followed by a Q&A with the artist, touching on topics such as the themes he explores in his work and what looms in the poetic horizon.
