Spring is here,
flowers in bloom,
and birds are nesting,
Winter is gone,
the grey has lifted,
'tis no time for resting.

Butterflies, beautiful flutter,
as they collect their pollen
Busy bees go buzzing by.
Cotton clouds,
Like big white splotches,
In an endless bright blue sky.

Black Cockatoos, migration over,
Headed back to West Australia,
White ones now on the lawn.
Spring is here,
all is new, glorious spring,
Makes one feel reborn.
