A daydream to remember

To stare upon these flowers is to be exposed to honey, glazed pure joy.
To breathe in this air is to be released from such a strong chokehold.
The crisp sun glazes the pollen of the flowers,
As the wind threatens to take some of its breathtaking petals
And it lies dangerously close to the evil path.
Breathing, you can almost taste the colourful flowers and the elegant rays of sun.
The flowers roar their pleas for me to pick them.
Some say,
To stare at these flowers for too long will catch you in a forever daydream,
Daring never to release you,
But as my gaze hovers over them,
I find myself never wanting to be released,
Never wanting this forever daydream to end.
The perfect petals play in the wind of the meadow,
The stems of the daisies dance in the spotlight of the sun.
I find it terrifying how my eyes won't seem to rip away from these flowers of hope,
They won't flick away to something else,
They won't glare at anything else like this again,
Never to be worth of these flowers.
