Light rays skitter across the lake
Creating kaleidoscopes of blue and scarlet red
Our radiance warmly embracing mother Earth
Flowers and children smile with sunlight well-met
Shadows are cast on the lush, unearthly meadows
As we travel the recurring journey of a day
Forever tranquility as we visit our friend father sky
Our immortal, always reliable friend we say
A lone sailor lowers the mast of his boat,
As we start our travel to distant lands
Our light rains down in shades of golden thread
A temporary farewell to their expectant demands
We smile down at new lakes and meadows
As Sister Moon descends upon the places of night
Giving her promise of rest and renewal to tired souls
For a new day of joy and light
