Once blooming fields, now barren and bare,

Flowers once lush, now gasping for air.

Their petals crumble, their colours fade,

As they struggle to survive in the dark shade.

The trees are gone, cut down with haste,

And with them went the flowers' resting place.

No more birdsongs, no buzzing bees,

Only silence as far as one sees.

The sun beats down on the bare earth,

A cruel reminder of what life was worth.

For every tree that fell to the ground,

A flower died without a sound.

They cry out for help from up above,

But their screams go unheard by those who love

To see the forest cleared away,

Ignoring nature's need to stay.

So let us heed this warning sign

And protect the earth before it's time

For all our flowers to wither and die,

Leaving behind only a desolate sky.
