No matter the time of day,
Forever to nature’s beat I’ll sway,
Sealed up in this little chamber waiting unabatingly for Spring I’ll stay.

The looming trees shall dance,
To the wind’s inconspicuous melody.
Will I ever get that chance?
Oh, how I wish I had the freedom of the Coccinellidae.

I yearn for the beauty that comes with,
To bloom; months waiting it’s my fifth.
I’m destined to be thought of as pretty,
Instead of the agonising glances of pity.

Right here right now, my time is soon,
Please Mother Nature let this fauna bloom.
I crave the bliss and independence, I beg you!

I can feel my petals begin to bloom,
I can be with the others soon.
Now no matter the time of day,
At last I’m finally awake.
