A Poem To Be Spoken Silently

It was so peaceful that I heard
my thoughts howl
like leaves in the wind.
It was so still that I heard
the bears groan as they try to hibernate.
It was so still that I heard
The rustling of a wool blanket.
It was so silent that I heard
the water gush like
lava flowing down a volcano.
It was so silent that I heard
a dragon whisper to its neighbour,
“look, he is staring at us again”.
It was so still that I felt
a raindrop grin
as it stained the window.
