A Poem To Be Spoken Silently

It was so still that I heard
my thoughts shine
like glimmer gold in a dark cave.
It was so peaceful that I heard
the trees shuffle for a spot in the sunlight.
It was so silent that I heard
The birds chirp for their parents.
It was so silent that I heard
A root suck up water from the ground and whisper to its neighbour,
“look he is warning him”..
It was so still that I felt
a raindrop grin
as it tripped down a blossom tree.
It was so calm that I sensed
a smile crack the face
of a black pigeon.
