A Rose Garden

Engraved with the happiness and love of roses abundant
Its silver, metallic body supported on four, stubby toes
Holds such a captivating storage of history and secrets
Secrets cold as its touch, secrets warm as its heart
Welcome to the rose garden
At touching its surface, you’ll feel like Atlas
In your palms is the earth's large landmass
You might flinch at its coldness, you might roll your eyes
But its care for others will make your heart empathise
Welcome to the rose garden
It must be such a struggle
To hold all those secrets with its small toes
Of all the woes and sorrows of those other things
Forced to sit away from its owner’s adoring warmth
Welcome to the rose garden
After the furniture sung, it went dark with a cliffhanger
It was then that the sunlight stood as ringmaster
It used to be a scene that the box had once dreamt
But the thought of leaving what it knew was now a lament
Welcome to rose garden
