A Splash Of Colour

Walking through the forest with no thoughts in my mind when a splash of colour catches my eye
A wonderful and bright shade of yellow of the wattle
Then colour floods my eyes
Shades of greys, whites and brown of the eucalyptus and gum trees
Shades of greens, browns and yellows coming from the undergrowth and the leaves of the mighty eucalyptus and gum trees
Shades of reds, whites and pinks of the bottle brushes 
A rainbow of nature fills my eyes and brightens my day
