mucus
the discharge of the moon
its luminous tongue laps against
shores
leaving tiny creatures
vegetated beard littered of
bodies
carcasses of the sea
undulating sand defines the
curvature
of this mellowing beach
the reflection of the sky are
stars
that speckle on the blue
