A tiara fit for an important person . . .

A tiara fit for an important person,
a tiara that brings back happy memories.
Memories you will never forget,
yet something that you will you always remember.
From the day of the wedding to now when I’m when I’m writing this,
the tiara still remains.
A tiara that’s had a hard life living in boxes,
a tiara that once sat on top of a loved cherished persons head,
to now when it lies forgotten in a dusty box.
A tiara that once was as silver as a new 20 cent coin fresh from the mint,
A tiara that now is as silver as a 5 cent coin from 1992.
A tiara that once owned beautiful diamonds,
that would dart around the room according to its reflection.
A tiara that that was as bumpy and round as rolling hills,
now ends abruptly by sharp, broken cliffs.
A tiara that reminds me of what she has done for me during these last long years.
