A treasure to cherish

In a land of blazing sun and a sea of cerulean hue,
Where galahs and cockatoos in wild freedom flew,
The beaches gleam with Bondi's golden strand,
And Bronte’s surf and Sirius Cove’s soft sand.
Once crystal waters, now a tarnished green,
Caught in the tide of rubbish, not the pristine scene.
Australia’s nature, wondrous, pure, and bright,
A treasure to cherish, to harness, and care for, clean even,
to maintain Australia’s nature, marvellous sight.
National Parks and Rainforests stretch far and wide,
A canvas of lush green, where vibrant life resides.
In the outback’s embrace, where red earth meets sky,
Uluru’s majesty rises, a timeless wonder standing by.
The kookaburra’s laughter echoes through the bush,
As a platypus glides calmly in a peaceful hush.
