A tree's story

Me, a paperbark tree, humans peel off my skin it hurts I get so hot, every year hotter and hotter
I hear the sound of a chainsaw
I’m frightened, they only started 4 trees away
From me I want to run but I can't now only three, getting harder to breathe 2 away, I hear them… the others
Groan & scream one left my friend
She’s gone no more trees only me
“Do they do it for fun?”
Closer the human came, bugs run, get scattered around, my leaves fall, “Is it Autumn already?”
I feel it the sharp strong pain of death… It's coming, “The pain!” I scream, boom! My branches have fallen I yell with fright “Help” it's too late I'm gone forever…
