A river slithers through the bushiness of the trees

and flows a path of roughness over the surface of things in its way.

Hissing and screaming rushing down the river’s spine

slowly getting stronger and firmer.

Ripping and tearing,

roughly it sharply makes its way through the mossy, slippery rocks.

Finally, its journey meets the end of its path

slowly

flowing

down

like a dark blue silky ribbon.

Shimmering as the sun reflects off the cool crystal water.

Greeting everything in its path,

eager as its emotions twist and turn down.

Slowly flowing back through the mossy rocks,

twisting, turning, spinning and splurging.

Splashing, splodging, growing and overflowing,

until it finally escapes and scatters through the wilderness of the water.
