About My Granpa

A tall, joyous man who I never knew.
In his function suit and black and white tie.
Stands proudly on the mantelpiece amongst cherished family members.
Although his days have passed you can hear his story.
And reminisce him.
The photo tells something about him.
He always thought of others.
And put them before himself.
He was like a warm blanket that comforted those around.
He laughed with his company of men and women.
Jimbo was true and courageous ‘til the end of his days.
