Adrift in Space

Swimming through the sea
Of stars; the dancing purple
Nebula shimmers.

Saturn proudly boasts;
Her wide brimmed amber sun hat
Shelters only her

Floating in darkness
I wave to every planet
As they drift past me

Silence is golden
Until it swallows you whole
And eats you alive

No-one hears my call
No-one hears my weak prayer
Who can lead me home?
