Alluring Tree

From a distance… I hear the wind flow through the crooked branches creating a howling noise like a ferocious dog. I see twisted branches rocking with the breeze, creaking with every move.
Close up… I faintly smell wet sap and musty dirt. The aroma of eucalyptus quickly fills up my nose, fast like a river. I feel crooked and jagged cracks running up the tree, throughout the moist bark.
Above me… I see swiftly moving branches above me, and the blue, alluring sky peaking through the green leaves. I see a small bird's nest and hear loud birds chirping like crickets crying, and I hear a loud mower in the distance.
Below me… I feel dead, dry leaves crunch under my feet. I see damp grass and soil nestling around the trunk, a scarf that protects it. I see a glimpse of a little yellow flower poking delicately through the torn leaves. I feel the damp soil sink beneath my feet, and the scent of the damp earth drifts up into my nose.
