birds soar through the blue sky, hoping not to hit a tree

possums hope not to die as their family shouts, flee

a snail hides in its shell, it's desperate to hide 

nature's food chain is a bit plain, all that's there are carnivores eating other creatures

animals at the bottom won't stop dying as others won't stop feeding 

if only the food chain could end, then maybe, then maybe, they could find a new friend
