They seem so small
Yet they’re more than we think
20 quadrillion on Earth
Deep down with whole cities
More than we can imagine
Much needed for the environment
Water and oxygen they help produce
We need the ants
We can’t live without
What they need from us
Spare their lives
Tread lightly
We need them
They need us
Care for them
As they care for us
