Arise

The sun rises with a calmness, confidence and with certainty.
It calls us forth; arise!
The clear blue sky is a brand new canvas every day,
brimming with opportunity and possibility.
Wispy cotton clouds decorate nature's vast ceiling,
with beautiful and boundless grace.

As far as our eyes can see, we're surrounded by the glory of creation.
How fearfully and wonderfully it was intricately formed,
with intention for us to nurture, to steward it well and to enjoy.

Nature is reciprocal.
If we tend the garden with care,
it responds and bares good fruit.
The more we nourish it,
the greater the capacity for it to return the favour.

Can we renew our vision?
Cast it further than our present need.
Let us weave and work towards the horizon,
so that generation after generation,
can and will bask in,
the innate loving and life-giving power of nature.
