In the land where eucalyptus trees grow tall,
Australia’s animals are a great show for all.
Kangaroos hop across the wide, open land,
While kookaburras laugh, they are so happy.

Koalas climb high in the gum tree’s embrace,
Slow and relaxed, they find their own place.
Wombats dig burrows deep in the cool ground,
Resting and playing without a sound.

Bright parrots fly up in the clear blue sky,
Their feathers are rainbow colours, catching your eye.
Platypuses swim in rivers so clear,
An amazing mix of creatures, nothing to fear.

The Great Barrier Reef is a magical sight,
With fish and coral sparkling in the light.
Australia’s wildlife is a wonderful view,
A treasure of nature for me and for you.

Let’s protect these wonders, help them survive,
In our hearts and actions, keep them alive.
